Portraits

A great portrait is a subjective concept. I’m happy to do a very formal shot for offices, business cards and similar applications as you can see in the gallery of photos. However, I specialize in environmental shots that capture the place and time, as well as the subject. These images create a more natural and real memory for family photos that will be appreciated decades from now.

Sessions are usually high-energy, low-pressure events. Scheduling outdoor photo shoots requires a bit of effort in the Houston area, and I am happy to do what ever it takes to find the perfect place.

Almost all of my shooting is done digitally, and I will make every effort to avoid distractions in the shot or minimize them in the processing. Since I do take some artistic license, I will always re-shoot the session or refund your money if you are not happy with the proofs.
