Portrait Sessions

Portraits can be shot at any place that is not on somebody else’s private property. If you have a special place in your home, we can usually set up lights and clear the scene of distractions in about 10 minutes. Alternatively we can set up a clean backdrop and do a studio type shot, or some of each if time allows.

For family shots, chaos is sometimes an ally, and sometimes not. I schedule 1 hour for these in-home sessions, but we may go a bit over if necessary.

All shots are digitally processed and professionally printed on Kodak E-surface paper. Black and white images are done by digital conversion and can be printed as true black and white or various sepia tone shades. Minor facial retouching, blemish repair and stray hair removal is included with your order. Other paper options and more extensive digital effects and manipulation are also possible for an extra cost, depending on the requested work.
